Two Part Presentation: Aftermarket Color / Ruthenium Coins & Which Coin ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcZMvsayQiI Two Part Presentation: Aftermarket Color / Ruthenium Coins & Which Coin ... In this video i show and ask you the question: Are aftermarket colorized or plated coins worth it? ? This is a Mintage 200 Libertad with Jesus Malverde....

I compare it with legitimately colorized coins from their official mints .

The second part of the presentation, has to do with what grading services you should be using.
And those grading services are (in no particular order) : NGC, PCGS, ANACS & ICG .

I find ANACS to be the cheapest & most reliable, however everyone has their own opinion . NGC would obviously be the most desirable in my opinion, but PCGS is a good runner up .

HOWEVER, those 4 are the only coin grading services that you're allowed to sell on eBay .

NCC (Numismatic Whatever Whatever) grading is NOT accepted by eBay. If you list a coin on ebay, at PR69 by the NCC, eBay, if they see it, will remove it.

You can list that coin, just not with the grade, and not with NCC .

When i have bought 3rd party grading service coins,
I have opened the capsule, (which usually arent sealed well to begin wtih) and remove the grade and label . The capsule is usually still good, and the label within the capsule is a piece of paper. Otherwise, take the coin out of the 3rd party NCC grading capsule and sell it that - way. .

Remember that if you're buying coins internationally, to know the laws of that country you're buying from. If you accidently buy a NCC coin from Poland, and didn't realize it, under Poland's own law, you cannot ship the coin back!
